Main Alarm Panel

Silbermann’s main alarm panel monitors the entire medical gas pipeline system to ensure uninterupted gas supply to the entire hospital or healthcare facility.

It provides continous monitoring and alert notification for multiple medical gas equipment.

The alerts can include:

• Low or high supply pressure
• Medical air compressor faults
• Medical vacuum pump faults
• Oxygen generator faults
• Changeover to the reserve supply / reserve bank in use
• Low reserve supply pressure

The NFPA 99 standard requires one master panel in the maintenance area and another in a continuously monitored location during facility operation. According to this recommendation, they are often located in the office or workspace of the personnel for maintaining the equipment. Another one is placed at the security office or building control center, where 24/7 monitoring is available.

Silbermann’s main alarm panel displays on a 12” LCD touch screen up to 62 alarms from different medical gas sources, including central supply systems, manifold systems, and pressure switches to control the gas pressure and ensure continuous gas flow through the entire medical gas pipeline system.

This panel detects real-time issues that can be addressed immediately to ensure the continuous safety and life support of hospital patients.

Our master alarm system can be configured to monitor any gas types requested by the customer, including Oxygen, Medical Air, Vacuum, Nitrogen (N₂), Nitrous Oxide (N₂O), Carbon Dioxide (CO₂), AGSS, and others.

The main alarm panel indicates whether the system is operating correctly. If a problem occurs in the monitored source, the warning light will change from green to red. The customer can choose how the alert is displayed on the panel, either as a specific alarm related to the affected source, or as a red blinking indication across the entire panel.
