Flowmeter

It is a variable-area flowmeter (similar to a Thorpe tube), primarily used for regulating the flow of medical gases like oxygen and medical air for inhalation therapy.

Most flowmeters offer adjustable flow rates ranging from 0–15 LPM, depending on the model.

Silbermann also offers a low-flow model of 0-7 LPM

Silbermann air and oxygen flowmeters are compatible with standard gas outlet probes, including: Sil-Ohio, ENV, DIN, Puritan Bennett, British Standard, and DISS. A 1/8 NPT female thread option is also available for connections without a probe. All standards are precision-matched to ensure a correct and safe connection.

Silbermann’s flowmeter has a body which is typically anodized aluminum (or brass on request), and the top cover and measuring tube are made of clear, non-breakable polycarbonate. This offers high durability compared to traditional glass tubes.

Silbermann flowmeters are available for direct connection into a gas outlet (plug-in type) or for use on hospital bed rails (rail-mounted) via tubing and a probe. They support various international standards (e.g., DISS, BS, NFPA).
