Medical gas line shut-off valves for safe and reliable control

Silbermann’s SP150 medical gas valves are three-piece ball valves with extensions, installed at designated points in the medical gas pipeline system to isolate specific areas for maintenance without shutting down the entire pipeline system. These valves also allow immediate shut-off for emergency isolation.

We offer a wide range of valve lengths and diameters to meet the various requirements of medical systems.

Compatible with various gas types, including:

oxygen (O2)
Medical Air
nitrogen (N2)
nitrous oxide (N2O)
carbon dioxide (CO2)
Vacuum.

Designed to endure high-pressure environments, this product is durable and long-lasting.

These line shut-off valves comply with NFPA 99, ISO 7396-1, and G-01 standards. They are cleaned for medical gas use, and each valve is hydrostatically tested.

Technical Data

Valve shall be a 3-piece ball-type full-bore design, with a bronze/ brass body, stainless steel ball, stem, bolts & nuts.
Seat shall be Teflon (RPTFE) and seal Viton.
Valves 1/2” to 2” shall have a minimum pressure rating of 4137 kPa (600 psi) wog. Valves 3” to 4” shall have a minimum
pressure rating of 2758 kpa (400 psi) wog.
Valve shall require only a quarter turn from a fully open position to a fully closed position.
Extensions stubs shall be K type with a minimum of 150 mm long to allow brazing without damaging the valve seat and seals
due to heat transfer.
Each valve shall be hydrostatically tested for leaks.
Each valve shall be washed and degreased for medical gas use.
Pipe stub extensions shall be capped at both ends.
The valves shall be supplied in sealed plastic bags, marked with “Oxygen” or “cleaned for oxygen use”, to prevent contamination before installation.
Valves shall be Silbermann model SP150 or equivalent.
