The Double Overhead Suspension Arms System is a ceiling-mounted ICU pendant designed to organize medical gases, electrical power, monitoring equipment, and infusion devices around the patient’s bed while providing maximum access for caregivers from both sides.

We designed this dual-arm ICU boom in collaboration with top ICU medical staff to ensure continuous, intensive workflow during critical times.

This Medical Pendant is flexible and can conform to various configurations to meet space requirements.

We offer customizable console sizes to fit your specific needs, including:

Features and benefits

  • Easy moving & positioning that quickly adapts to changing situations, Especially in Emergencies.
  • Cable management – the neat and organized cables and their hanging system from the ceiling helps prevent
    hospital-acquired infection, and tripping hazards, while also protecting wires and hoses from wear & tear.
  • Locked position-brake handles that can be individually adapted to specific work processes. The pneumatic brake control is installed on both service heads via one or two buttons. These pneumatic or mechanical brakes enable the control of the main bearing brake and the intermediate bearing brake. There’s an option to add a pneumatic service head rotation brake.
    Ball bearings are maintenance-free.
  • Two articulated arms allow for a greater range of motion and positioning choices.
  • The accessories are detachable and interchangeable
  • Maximum access around the patient.
  • The 2 service heads have mounting slides on four sides for various accessories.
  • The service head can accommodate:
    Electric sockets, medical gas outlets, gauges, equipotential pins, data sockets, nurse call, code blue, etc.

The “Dry Side” service head allows for the attachment of:

  • Shelves size 550×500 may be front, sides, or back mounted.
  • Drawers with shock-absorbing rails under the shelf are available.
  • Stainless steel IV poles with height-adjustable slow descending mechanism. 3 hook rods may be attached to the service head.

The “Wet Side” service head allows for the attachment of:

  • Stainless steel IV poles with height-adjustable slow descending mechanism. 3 hook rods may be attached to the service head.
  • Height-adjustable hanging rails may be mounted on the poles of the service head to carry oxygen and vacuum therapy equipment.
  • An optional small tray (400×300 mm) can be mounted on the service head.
  • An endoscopic equipment holder can be added and clamped to a rail on the side of the service head.

The Overhead Suspension Arm meets the requirements of: NFPA99, EN ISO 11197, and 7396-1 standards.
